There are some seniors who leave an imprint long before their graduation. Kyle is one of them. I have known Kyle for years and have enjoyed seeing him grow up at our church. Growing up, he always had a smile on his face, and was surrounded by friends, and he was especially friendly to all the adults too. His ability to relate to everyone, no matter what their age, always stood out to me. I knew he would grow up to be a remarkable young man… and indeed he is! So when he asked me (in person, of course) to take his senior pictures, I knew, immediately, that Kyle’s sunrise senior session was going to be something extra special.

Kyle is a kind, thoughtful, Jesus-loving young man who also is gifted in football and in music. So of course, those two passions shaped every part of his session.

We began his senior session at sunrise, at Cypress Point Park in Tampa. The morning sun was glowy and the beach was empty (which is always a main reason for suggesting sunrise sessions). Kyle arrived with his parents, and was so excited. He showed up with his trademark (adorable) smile, and every outfit was perfectly styled and ready to go. I was so impressed… he picked them all out himself! Kyle also brought his guitar, which I completely expected. Kyle used to help lead worship in our student ministry as he was growing up, and he is now one of the worship leaders at his current church. Music is part of who Kyle is, so of course he would bring his guitar.

We started off the session walking all around the beach, and even out on the small dock. Kyle’s amazing personality was on full display, from the very first click of my camera. Then, after a quick change of clothes and a few more photos, including a photo with his parents, we headed into the second half of his session.

Our second half of his session started out with a delicious breakfast! Well… we were actually killing time before we could get into Raymond James Stadium. For me, that was one of my very favorite parts of Kyle’s session. I always love the opportunity of sitting down and getting to know my clients even better. Kyle is the “baby” in a large family, so there were so many great stories that he shared. We had the best time together. Then, after breakfast, we headed to the stadium for the grand finale of Kyle’s senior session.

Raymond James Stadium is a place that holds special meaning for Kyle and his family, as his father is a former Buccaneer. We had access to most of the stadium for Kyle’s session, along with an escort. We even captured the sweetest photo of Kyle and his dad, in the locker room together. I know it must have brought back so many memories for Kyle’s dad. Kyle was having a blast!

Even with all of these sentimental and amazing locations within the stadium, Kyle was really looking forward to climbing on the pirate ship, for the grand finale. (Me too, actually!). But, probably one of the most unforgettable moments of the day, was when Kyle got to run through the tunnel and onto the field. Epic doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Kyle’s session was more than a senior session… it was a full-circle day with a remarkable young man who is stepping into his own future with strength, humility, and purpose. Kyle, we are all so proud of you and can’t wait to see you continue to thrive when you head up north to the same school where you received your high school diploma…. Liberty University. God has great plans for you, Kyle!! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments. Your family and friends love you more than words can say.
