Angelina and Trey are the ultimate outdoor duo. They love fishing, fresh air, wide open trails… basically anything in nature. It’s their happy place. So, it was no surprise that Angelina and Trey’s Silver Springs wedding day was surrounded by towering trees and winding boardwalks, as well as their favorite people.

When I arrived, Angelina was tucked away in a cozy getting-ready room, just off the ballroom. Surrounded by her closest people, the anticipation in that tiny space was something you could feel. It was quiet, calm, and so sweet. She was there with her mom, her sister, and her hair stylist, Allison, who just happened to be a former bride of mine, which made it extra special. Seeing both Angelina and Allison again made my heart so happy. I love reconnecting with past brides, but this day belonged to Angelina… and she was absolutely ready for it.

After capturing her bridal details and a few other “nature” details around the park, we made our way into a private outdoor area, surrounded by trees for their first look. Again… it was perfect for this outdoor couple. There was such a quiet excitement, and they were ready for their wedding day to officially begin. They had written letters to each other, and I loved capturing their smiles, giggles, and the emotions of this moment.

Trey made her laugh (he always does), and Angelina broke into her playful, adorable smile that lights up her whole face. I noticed it during their engagement session, and those specific photos became instant favorites. Then, seeing that sweet smile again during their first look was so special. It made me smile too!!! You can just feel how much fun they have together and how happy Trey makes her. Their first look was honest, emotional, and full of so much joy.

Soon after, their family joined them for portraits, and then it was time for the ceremony. The walk to the ceremony site was long and expectant. We walked down a winding boardwalk that led deep into the park. The ceremony site sat tucked into nature, surrounded by trees. There was just enough seating for their loved ones. It almost felt like a little hidden chapel in the woods.

Their vows were sweet and sincere, with their families looking on. And, everyone was ready to celebrate when they were pronounced husband and wife!!

During their reception, there were toasts, laughter, dancing, and a whole lot of joy. Angelina never left the dance floor once the party started! She and Trey were taking in every second of their special day with their favorite people! They celebrated hard and it was perfect!

Angelina and Trey, thank you for trusting me with your day. You two embraced every moment, enjoyed your people, and had the best time celebrating your wedding day! It was a joy to watch it all unfold and truly an honor to tell your story.
