Each senior season seems to fly by, and this year has been no different. Addison’s nature and urban senior session was the perfect way to wrap up my class of 2025 seniors! From the charming fountain to the golden sunrise on the morning of her session, Addison’s photos captured her personality, style, and beauty ~ inside and out. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my senior sessions for the class of 2025 senior year.

But, let’s back up several years to when I first started photographing Addison’s family. I never imagined, back then, that one day I would also have the privilege of capturing her senior photos. And then all of a sudden, we blinked and there we were… celebrating Addison’s final year of high school and capturing her senior photos. I’ll never forget when I first met Addison. One of the first things I noticed about her were those adorable dimples! Oh, she was (and still is) so, so cute!

Addison wanted the best of both worlds for her senior portraits. She wanted a nature senior session with a touch of urban. So we started her session, bright and early, down by a concrete tunnel. I just love tunnels for seniors.

Urban Location

Addison arrived in the cutest casual look: a simple brown tee and light-wash jeans, which were perfect for this urban part of her session. She looked fantastic right from the start, and when she flashed those dimples at the camera, she made every single shot feel so joyful and full of life.

Nature Location

After this first part of her senior session, we moved over to a tree-lined path where Addison changed into a lovely blue-and-white romper. The sunlight peeked through the branches, wrapping her in a soft, golden glow that I’m always dreaming of for senior sessions! My photographer heart was so happy!!!

Photos By The Fountain

Next up, we walked over to a lovely fountain. It’s a favorite spot of mine, in this location. Seniors and fountains… seniors and tunnels… this session was full of all of my favorite things. For these photos by the fountain, the sun shimmered behind Addison and she looked stunning! You could easily see how excited she was about where she would be headed soon, in just a few months. She was Gainesville bound… to the University of Florida!! Yes… she was going to be a Gator!!!

Dance Photos

Then we finished her session by highlighting one of her favorite things ever. It has been a part of her life, for almost her entire life! Addison, who is also an incredibly talented dancer, brought her pointe shoes and we had fun capturing creative, movement-filled shots that showed off her grace and personality. (Emphasis on GRACE here). She moved so effortlessly and, yes, with so much grace!!! What a special way to end her session… but not until she threw on her UF t-shirt, as a final shout out to the college where she would be heading to, in just a few short months.

It’s been such an honor to photograph Addison and her family over the years ~ from all those family sessions to this milestone moment. Watching her grow into the kind, confident, and beautiful young woman that she is today has been an absolute joy. Addison, I know you’re going to do incredible things at the University of Florida and beyond. Congratulations, sweet girl — your future is so bright! 💙🧡
